In the summer of 2022, Matt and Trina Thibault moved to San Diego with a calling from God to plant a Bible-teaching, gospel-preaching, disciple-making church.
By His grace and power, they were part of the team that formed who would launch the first public worship gathering of Doxa Church in January of 2023.
This past weekend marked one year of God's faithfulness in sustaining, empowering, protecting, and providing for yet another gospel work in San Diego. Doxa's mission is to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission in the Spirit of the Great Commandment, and we praise God for seeing incremental fulfillment of that mission in the first year of our existence.
We're eager to see how the Lord will continue to advance his kingdom for his glory through the movement of churches on mission together in San Diego.
